Montreal, Quebec (March 06, 2017) – Plasticon Canada was contracted by W.A. Stephenson to supply 18 chemical storage tanks for the Ashbridge Bay Treatment Plant. This project spearheaded by the City of Toronto is part of larger phosphorous removal upgrade initiative.
Plasticon was approved by CIMA+ as a qualified vendor. Both companies have worked extensively together for 25 years. "We are currently in the design and engineering phase", said Eric Lamontagne, CEO of Plasticon Canada. Production will begin in summer 2017. The FRP tanks will be heated and insulated. Delivery will start in November 2017, two tanks per week, until the end of this year.
